A memorial in memory of the 180 members of the RAFs 21st BDS who landed on Omaha beach on D-Day. Of the 180 that landed there 8 were killed and 37 wounded.

ON OMAHA BEACH ON D-DAY TO PROVIDE GROUND CONTROLLED RADAR PROTECTION FOR THE AMERICAN
BEACHHEAD. SIX OF THOSE WHO DIED HERE THAT DAY ARE BURIED IN THE BAYEUX WAR CEMETERY.
